Beulah D. Smith

Beulah D. Smith, 65, of Llano died March 15, 2012. She was born in Llano on April 10, 1946, to Richard Homer and Laura Margaret Smith Halliburton.

She lived and was employed in Llano for most of her life.

She was a beloved wife and mother.

Survivors include children Carlos Smith Jr. of Llano, Curtis Smith of Odessa, Anthony Calhoun of Lawton, Okla., Wanda Patton of Junction, Laura Smith of Llano and Debbie Holtman of San Angelo; sisters Violet Carl of Kingsland, Judy Shelburn of Burnet and Beatrice Cunningham of Florida; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carlos Franklin Smith Sr.; brother Eugene Carpenter; and sisters Margaret Smith, Patricia Sweatman and JoAnn Reed.

Visitation was March 18 at the Putnam Funeral Home, 830 Ford St. in Llano, (325) 248-0009. A graveside service was at Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Royce Reed officiating. Burial followed.
