Myrl Porter

Myrl Porter, 83, of Buchanan Dam died March 12, 2012. She was born to Arvil and Lillian Dearing Webb in Fayetteville, Ark., on Oct. 22, 1928.

She was a member of the First Union Church of Buchanan Dam and Home Demonstration of Llano. She owned and operated restaurants. She married Russell Porter Feb. 11, 1947.

In addition to her husband, survivors include sister Virginia Corrales of Houston and a niece.

She was preceded in death by son Tommy Porter in 1967.

At the request of the family, no services will be held at this time.

Private inurnment will take place in Arkansas.
