Ina Ceda Davis
Ina Ceda Davis, 91, of Burnet died March 3, 2012. She was born April 23, 1920, in Mercedes to Sampson and Mariam Norwood Farris.
After graduating from business school she went to work for Yarings Clothing Store in Austin, where she was an accountant and bookkeeper for 25 years.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Austin Writers Club.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Knox Davis of Burnet; daughter Sally Jo "Joei" Gifford of Burnet; granddaughter Heather Nicole Day of Burnet; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by brothers Joe Farris of Lubbock and Ben Farris of Lampasas; and grandson John Welton Gifford of Burnet.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. March 5 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444.
Services are 2 p.m. March 6 at the Church of Christ, 102 Vandeveer St. in Burnet, with Tim Denton officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.
