Nannie P. Evans
Nannie P. Evans, 98, died Feb. 15, 2012, at Granite Mesa Health Center in Marble Falls. She was born in Anadarko, Okla., on Sept. 22, 1913, to Patrick Ezekial and Searcy Lee Kellogg Partin.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Marble Falls. She also was longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 164 in Tuscumbia, Ala.
Survivors include son Edward E. Evans and wife Francine; grandchildren Edward Evans of Kingman, Kan., Nancy Jones and husband Wayne of Midland and Alan Evans of Corpus Christi; great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Elise Evans of Laredo, Kaitlyn and Kacey Barton of Midland and Alan Ray Evans of Corpus Christi; several nieces; and numerous stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Judson A. Evans, who died in 1996; and sister Ruby Partin.
A graveside service is 11 a.m. Feb. 20 at Southpark Cemetery in Pearland.
The family thanks the staff at The Clairmont, Gateway Villa and Granite Mesa Health Center for their care.
