Robert D. Holland, 75, of Llano died Feb. 6, 2012, after a sudden illness. He was born in Marble Falls on Feb. 11, 1936, to Hugh Canara and Nellie (LaForge) Holland.

He married Patricia Ann Long on May 29, 1961, in Marble Falls.

He was a former worshipful master of Henry Thomas Masonic Lodge in Smithwick. He received an outstanding 4-H Leader award and was a veteran of the Air Force.

He enjoyed reading and being outdoors.

In addition to his wife of Llano, survivors include daughter Pamela Boyd and husband Frank of Grapevine; sister Lola Tucker of Marble Falls; and granddaughter Lesli Marshall of Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and six sisters.

A graveside service is 3:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Honey Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Max Copeland officiating.

Pallbearers include his nephews and great-nephews Ronnie Powell, Craig Lusinger, Jim Tucker, Bruce Gregg, Jamie Monk and Trey Monk.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cherokee Children’s Home, Pecan Grove Road, San Saba, TX 76877.
