Burnet Bulldogs’ new district will be more competitive, coach says
BURNET — A shocking curveball. That’s how Burnet High School athletic director and head football coach Kurt Jones described the feeling he got when the University Interscholastic League released realignment Feb. 2.
The Bulldogs now will be in District 8-3A with foes Lampasas, Liberty Hill and Llano. That didn’t surprise Jones.
