Herman Wade ‘Tom’ Tomlin, 83, died Jan. 9, 2012, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

After retirement, he and his wife moved from California to Marble Falls and resided in the city for more than 20 years. He was active in the Catholic church and was a longtime member of the Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Helen; son Philip Tomlin; daughter Chyrel Allen; grandchildren Robert Allen, Michelle Allen and Sarah Berberich and husband Peter; great-grandchild Adrian Allen; daughter-in-law Cheryl Tomlin; and son-in-law Paul Allen.

A recitation of the rosary is 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at Edgar Funeral Home, 2105 U.S. 281 in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Feb. 7 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 105 RR 1431 East in Marble Falls, with interment to follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.

Another memorial service is 2 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge,  6926 RR 1431 West in Granite Shoals.
