Jean Allen Kirkpatrick
<p>Jean Allen Kirkpatrick, 76, of Marble Falls died Jan. 28, 2012. She was born in Caldwell County on June 16, 1935, to Rodney Allen Gray and Helen Constance Herron-Jerls.</p>
<p>After 26 years of dedicated service, she retired from AT&T, but her most memorable occupation was showering her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with “sugar.” She was the heart and soul of her family and was known for her ability to bring everyone together, teaching them the importance of family and the enduring power of love.</p>
<p>Survivors include her husband of more than 30 years, James “Jimmy” Kirkpatrick; children Jacquelyn Hall and husband William, Jamie Allen and husband Stan, Allen Buckner, Alan Kirkpatrick, Scott Kirkpatrick and Karen Kirkpatrick; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother Rodney Paul “Bubba” Gray and wife Nora; brother-in-law Thomas Kirkpatrick and wife Laverne; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lonnie Joe Gray.</p>
<p>A graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Feb. 2 at McNeil Cemetery in Caldwell County.</p>
