Oquieta Gene “Wendy” Charpiot-McDuffee, 36, of Granite Shoals died Jan. 3, 2012, in Austin. She was born in Albuquerque, N.M., on Nov. 23, 1975, to Billie John and Deborah Womack Charpiot.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband Ricky Lee McDuffee; sons Brandon Lee McDuffee and John Aubrey McDuffee; daughter Ciara Shyann-Rain McDuffee; father Billie John Charpiot of Round Rock; mother Deborah Womack Kennedy of Log Cabin; brother Steve Kennedy Jr. of Austin; sisters Angel Kennedy of Pflugerville and Jo Kirksey of Copperas Cove; grandmother Nelda Womack of Pflugerville; special friends Jenny and John Champion, Maxine and Stan Sanders, Heather Rogers, Janet Henderson and Dona Sexton; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandfather Travis O. Womack and grandparents A.W. and Maxine Charpiot.

A celebration of life service is 1 p.m. Jan. 22 at Edgar Funeral Home, 2105 U.S. 281 in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808, with the Rev. Max Copeland officiating.

Interment will follow in Old Town Cemetery in Round Rock.
