Jim Berry
Jim Berry, 82, of Burnet died Jan. 9, 2012, at his home. He was born in Houston on Nov. 20, 1929, and moved to Burnet in 1978.
He was a well-known, successful real estate broker and was involved in many area developments.
He had a deep appreciation for family life, service to others and the land.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Bette Berry; brother Gene; daughter Susan Colvin and husband Drew; son Steve Berry and wife Nancy; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brother Doug and grandson Hunter Colvin.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Jan. 11 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. A service is 1:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at the funeral home with burial following at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Park Road 4 in Burnet.
