Lillian Parkhill
Lillian Parkhill, 84, of Kingsland and formerly of San Antonio, died Dec. 22, 2011, at her residence. She was born Dec. 25, 1926, to John Burchfield and Almeta (Rydner) Burchfield in Durah, Okla.
On Oct. 3, 1941, she married U.L. Parkhill in Lawton, Okla. She was a graduate of the San Antonio Business School and was a member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge of San Antonio.
She also was a member of the Calvary Hill Church in Kingsland.
Survivors include her son the Rev. Ronny Lynn Parkhill of Elgin; her daughter the Rev. Joannie Jackson of Kingsland; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on Nov. 25, 1991; and brother James Burchfield.
A memorial service is 1 p.m. Dec. 31 at Calvary Hill Church with Jackson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Calvary Hill Church.
