‘Big Dave’ now a big deal at UTSA
SAN ANTONIO — Believe it not, former Marble Falls High School standout football player David Morgan had to prove to his University of Texas-San Antonio coaches he could score touchdowns on the fade route.
“I ran a couple of them on teams,” he said with a grin. “I did that all in high school.”
Once he proved he could do it, coaches moved Morgan, a tight end, off the line, which was more familiar to him.
