Shirley May Pennington Behrens
Shirley May Pennington Behrens, 85, of Marble Falls died Dec. 13, 2011, at Granite Mesa Health Center. She was born March 20, 1926, in Harvard, Ill., to Wilton Everett and Irma Helen Miller Pennington.
She was an office manager in the meat-packing industry.
Survivors include son Bradley J. Behrens and wife Kay of Burnet; grandchildren Timothy J. Behrens, Lauren M. Behrens and Zachary W.D. Behrens, all of Round Rock, and Jordan E. Rogers, Bailey K. Rogers and Caleb J. Rogers, all of Burnet; great-grandchild Braxton L. Ringstaff of Burnet; and sister Margaret Jean Crews of Eastman, Ga.
She was preceded in death by husband Carl J. Behrens; daughter Vickie Lynn Behrens; son Steven Glenn Behrens; and parents.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Saunders McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner in Harvard, Ill., (815) 943-5400.
A funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19 at First United Methodist in Harvard, Ill., with interment to follow in Bigfoot Cemetery, Bigfoot, Ill.
