GRANITE SHOALS — The first Toy Run benefiting Granite Shoals Christmas Outreach is Oct. 29.

The 125-mile motorcycle fundraiser starts at 11 a.m. at the Granite Shoals Fire Department, 8410 RR 1431 West, with the first bike returning at 5 p.m. There is a $10 entry fee for each rider.

The event will collect toys for underprivileged children ages infant to 15 years in Granite Shoals to be distributed 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 17 at Grace United Methodist Church, 4007 CR 416.

At the Oct. 29 toy run, there also will be a silent auction and a raffle with a ticket given for each new unwrapped toy. There is a large need for gifts for children ages 12-15.

Sponsors are needed to donate items for the auction and raffle or money to help with expenses.
