CEDAR PARK — The Lady Mustangs improved in the final two sets of an Oct. 14 district game against the Lady Timberwolves with a slight defensive change and adjustments on offense but still came up short.

SAY WHAT? “We went for the win but were unsuccessful in bringing home a victory. The night was full of hustled balls, saved plays and tough defense against a hard-hitting team from Cedar Park,” head coach Julie Downs said. RECORDS: Marble Falls is 16-19, 3-7; Cedar Park is 19-16, 7-3.

BURNET — The Lady Dawgs kept their District 25-3A championship hopes alive by winning a close five-set match against a Lady Eagles team that has its eyes on the title as well.
