Jessie Earl Weaver, 62, of Llano and formerly of Eldorado, died Oct. 11, 2011. He was born March 26, 1949, to Jessie Joyce Weaver and Maggie L. (Bonsal) Weaver in Odessa.

On Aug. 24, 1966, he married Brenda J. Higginbotham in Big Lake.

He enjoyed his horses, grandchildren, making friends and loved a good conversation. He also was known for his big cowboy hat.

In addition to his wife of Llano, sons include James E. Weaver and wife Debbie of Llano, David L. Weaver and wife Renee of Buda, and Danny L. Weaver of Dallas; sisters Patricia Boothe of Brady and Sheila Cram of Oklahoma; grandchildren Micheale, Jessica, Jamie, Adam, Anthony, Garrett, Justin, Samantha and Calli; great-grandchildren Katie, Breanna, Zane, Katherine, Mason and Geni; numerous nieces and nephews; and special nephew James Keith of Llano.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation is 7-8 p.m. Oct. 12 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.

A graveside service is 2 p.m.  Oct. 13 at the Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Stacey Nobles officiating.

Pallbearers include Jamie Weaver, Brandon Weaver, Anthony Weaver, Garrett Weaver, Justin Weaver, Christopher Espinosa and Nicholas Espinosa.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Llano Food Pantry.
