Burnet cross-country teams compete in Round Rock
ROUND ROCK — The Burnet High School boys cross-country team finished 37th out of 39 teams while the girls team was 35th out of 42 at the Round Rock McNeil Invitational on Oct. 1.
Both squads were in the 1A-3A division.
“It was a great race with over 600 competitors from all over the state of Texas,” head coach Stuart Dixon said.
The races were at Old Settler’s Park, the site of the state cross-country meet.

- Boys: 123, Cutter Sims, 19:26; 168, Joe Parker, 20:14; 170, Fernando Mejia, 20:17; 240, Frederick Schmidt, 22:41; 243, Aaron Barnes, 23:19; 248, Zane McCartney, 24:19.
- Girls: 32, Kathryn Drake, 13:08; 140, Autumn Freasier, 14:27; 207, Kristen Gideon, 15:27; 244, Blake Skoog, 16:37; 245, Mariah Qualls, 16:38.
