Lady Ponies finish third at tournament
WIMBERLEY — The Marble Falls Middle School eighth-grade B volleyball team finished third in Wimberley Tournament on Oct. 1.
“The girls did a great job this weekend,” coach Jillian McDonald said.
The Lady Ponies defeated Canyon Lake in two games for third place.
Marble Falls defeated Lockhart 22-25, 25-17, 25-21 to begin the tournament but lost to Wimberley 2-0 in the next match.
Top passers were Kim Fry, Natalie Schultz, Shelby Littleton and Alexys Mason. Top setters were Blaire Hambrick and Courtney Pilley.
Top hitters were Kiahna Barton, Mylie Ferguson, Lexi Higginbotham, Amber Syzdek and Baylee Adams.
