Dorine Edgar

Dorine Edgar, 96, of Marble Falls died Sept. 8, 2011. She was born in Winnepeg, Canada, on Nov. 7, 1914.
She entered the United States at the age of 7 and became a naturalized citizen at 21. In 1945, she married William Joseph Edgar.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Panama for 60 years, the Ladies Oriental Shrine and Daughters of the Nile.
Survivors include her daughter Patricia Fenter and husband Lester; daughter-in-law Diana Edgar; grandchildren Cheryl and Giles Summerlin, Mark and Kelly Fenter, Brian and Lindsay Edgar and Shannon Edgar; and great-grandchildren Ainsley, Keeton, Zachary, Ridge and Norah.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son Michael Edgar.
A service is 1 p.m. Sept. 18 at First United Methodist Church, 1101 Bluebonnet Drive in Marble Falls, with pastors Jeana Martin and Ellen Ely officiating.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Marble Falls’ Helping Fund or the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital of Galveston.
