MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls Middle School seventh-grade A volleyball team lost its season opener to Hudson Bend on Sept. 9.
Leading the team defensively was Alisha Williams, Morgan Hagood and Skyler Noack.
On the offensive end of the game, the team was led by Alisha Williams with the most aces and Aspen Woerner, who led in kills.
Hagood led the team in assists.
“We did a lot of good things,” coach Kelly Clark said. “I refused to let the team just pass the ball back over the net. I made them set it up. They did a great job of this. We are improving every day, and I am looking forward to a great season.”
