Joe D. White
Joe D. White, 81, of Round Rock and formerly of Llano, died July 30, 2011. He was born Feb. 17, 1930, to Mirian Houston and Click White in McKinney. He married Gloria (Anderson) White at Big Spring in 2003.
He retired from the Department of Public Safety; was a member of the Llano Lions Club and Masonic Lodge; and also was an active member of St. Richards Episcopal Church in Round Rock.
In addition to his wife, survivors include son Larry White and wife Ava of Austin.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Aug. 1 at at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. Aug. 2 at the Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Stuart Shelby officiating.
Pallbearers include Michael Capo, Mike Ortega, Jimmy Frosch, Timm Fuller, Jerry Moczygemba, Mark Zwerneman, Blake Tolleson, John Coffee, Bryant Ratliff, David Hawthorne, David Potter, Louis Heinze and Randy Livingston.
