Janet Piper Fry, 85, of Burnet died July 27, 2011, after a brief illness.

She will be remembered for her strong Christian faith, her care and concern for others, and her wonderful optimism, which she retained until the end.

Survivors include sons Louis Fry and wife Linda of Dripping Springs, Daniel Fry of Austin and Robert Fry of Kingsland; daughters Jan Goss and Sarah Kyle, both of Austin; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Larry Piper and wife Margie of Spring; sister Janice Burrage and husband Richard of Burnet; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Louis Fry, her husband of 53 years; and  brothers David Piper and Johnny Piper.

A memorial service is 10 a.m. August 6 at Hill Country Fellowship, 200 Houston Clinton Drive in Burnet.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Seton Highland Lakes Hospital in Burnet for their loving care during her brief illness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Christian Women’s Job Corps of Burnet, or Hill Country Fellowship Church.  Condolences may be offered to www.clementswilcoxburnet.com.
