MFalls finishes season with win, experience
MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School baseball team finished the summer season by going 4-0 and winning the Llano Tournament last weekend.
The result shows the positive work the players and volunteer coaches put in the past several weeks, according to head coach David Norwood.
“The most important thing is our kids played a lot of games,” he said. “They played 25 games this summer. That’s the most a Marble Falls team has played in the summer.
“Summer baseball has been reborn,” he added. “This group of kids decided they wanted to get better for Marble Falls.”
Chris Goodman and Michael Bible served as volunteer coaches. The coaches’ aim was to get the Mustangs better at handling situations such as the hit and run, bunts, squeezes and stealing bases.
