Linda F. Finn, 69, of Marble Falls died July 9, 2011. She was born in Lewisburg, Ohio, on Feb. 20, 1942, to Donald Heber and Marie Frances Ludy Overholser.

She was an advocate of the arts, nature and giving back to any community in which she resided. Born in the farmlands of Ohio, she nurtured these loves as a school teacher for many years until she decided to devote herself to her family when the opportunity presented itself. Her caring light illuminated the Finn household for many years, as well as the many charitable organizations to which she donated her time.

She enjoyed nothing more than to sit outside and watch her beloved birds, preferably with the laughter of her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews nearby. She was a woman of intense spirituality and faith, but could be found chuckling at her favorite television show. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include husband Marvin; sons Greg Finn and wife Brenda and Michael Finn and girlfriend Leah Wright; grandchild Matthew Finn; brothers Jack Overholser and wife Peg, and John Overholser; sisters Fanny Leas and husband Ed, Carol Oda and husband Larry, and Jo Ann Overholser; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. July 12 at Edgar Funeral Home, 2105 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808.
