Gary Wade Marrs

Gary Wade Marrs, 61, of Llano died July 6, 2011. He was born in Odessa on April 27, 1950, to Howard Wade and Dorothy Marrs.

He belonged to the Church of Christ and was a rancher. He married Cynthia D. Raschke in Midland on Feb. 15, 1984.

He had lived in Llano since 1990, moving here from Odessa. He was a good husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Cynthia D. Marrs of Llano; sons Hunter Wade Marrs of Alpine and Daren Lee and wife Daina Hines of Friendswood; daughter Branden D. Concord of Llano; brother Paul Marrs of Livingston; sister Sharon K. Manley of Colorado; and grandchildren Remington, Ashley, Houston and Sydnie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A service is 1 p.m. July 8 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. David Hankins will officiate.
