Lois Mae Hurst
Lois Mae Hurst, 81, of Burnet died July 4, 2011. She was born Feb. 22, 1930, in Archer City to Jack and Ruby Sidwell Shadwick.
Survivors include daughters Brenda Nilsson and husband George of Round Rock and Linda Edwards and husband Robert of Burnet; brothers Royce Shadwick and wife Josephine, and Cloyce Shadwick and his wife Lou, all of Graham; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband W.C “Dub” Hurst in February 2009.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. July 6 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444 .
A graveside service is 2 p.m. July 7 at the Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle with the Rev. Loyall Watkins officiating.
