Georgia Beatrice Pierce
Georgia Beatrice Pierce, 95, of Kingsland died June 28, 2011. She was born in Braggs, Okla., on Sept. 29, 1915, to James Marshall and Willie May (Carter) Adams.
She married Raymond Pierce in Mission on March 20, 1937.
She had been a resident of Kingsland since 1973 and a member of the Highland Lakes Church of Christ. She also was involved with the senior citizens group.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 12, 1979; sisters Lois Roe, Addie Beard and Oleta Muschany; and brothers Pascho Adams and Stanley Adams.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. June 30 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767.
A service is 11 a.m. July 1 at the funeral home with Joe Winnett officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, 4219 Park Road 4 South in Burnet.
