Reba Jean Spann, 86, of Kingsland died June 16, 2011. She was born in Tulsa, Okla., on Oct. 12, 1924, to Harrison and Mildred Irene Curtis Ralston.

She had worked in civil service for 22 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years and was a Worthy Matron for the Kingsland Chapter O.E.S. 1118 in 1997-1998. She also was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and served as regent for the Llano Uplift Chapter from 2000-2002.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Harold Spann of Kingsland; sons Ronald and wife Sandy Morgan of Irving and Eugene Spann of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister Frances Wyrick of Boulder, Colo.

A visitation was June 20 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008, followed by a service there with Ron Morgan officiating.

Interment followed at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.
