Annie Aline Killebrew

Annie Aline Killebrew, 84, of Buchanan Dam died June 11, 2011. She was born in the Clear Creek area of Burnet County on May 16, 1927, to E.R. and Viola Watson.
She attended school in Oatmeal and soon after began a career as a beautician in the Highland Lakes as an owner/operator for many years. She was an avid golfer and member of the Highland Lakes Golf Association for a long time. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening and canning and will be remembered for her cooking. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
She will be remembered as a very kind, loving, yet determined woman. Most will recall her as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who touched many hearts in the span of her life. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband Elgin Murry Killebrew; son Raymond Gene Killebrew and wife Alice Killebrew; brother Raymond Don Watson; sister Irene Wommack; grandsons Raymond V. Killebrew and wife Tracy Killebrew and Michael Thompson; great-grandchildren Tristen Thompson, Landree Thompson, Madison Thompson, Jordan Killebrew, Karissa Killebrew and Sydney Killebrew; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was June 13 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222. A graveside service was June 14 at Bluffton Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Denton officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Ben Watson, John Watson, Chase Watson, Todd Overstreet, Doug Overstreet, Todd Mauldin and Dave Armstrong.
