JoBell Haile, 62, of Granite Shoals died May 30, 2011, surrounded by family. She was born March 1, 1949, in Leon County to Willie G. and Dolly Rissy Cox Hennard.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was a great cook, woodworker and had a green thumb.  Survivors include her husband of 26 years Ray Haile; children Kenneth Moon and wife Deidra of Madisonville, Linda Smith and husband Bill of Marble Falls, Janice Abbott of Cottonwood Shores, and Peggy Moon and husband Steve Morell of Granite Shoals; daughter-in-law Pam Moon of Kingsland; grandchildren Jessica Smith and husband Brandon of Austin, Kristina Wilkes of Rock Springs, Stacie Wilkes of Cottonwood Shores, Billie Smith and wife Jenah of Stephenville, Sarah Smith of Marble Falls, Meagan Moon, Amanda Moon and Emily Moon, all of Kingsland and Dustin Osteen of Granite Shoals; great-grandchildren Riley Smith, Jacey Moffett, Gracey Moffett and Kaydee Smith; siblings Patricia Carey of Douglasville, Ga., Rosemary Piper and husband Bob of Houston, Adell Hennard and wife Frankie Jean of Jewett and Garry Hennard of Concord; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Danny Moon; and brothers Larry Hennard, Willie Hennard Jr. and Donnie Ray Hennard.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. June 1 at Edgar Funeral Home, 2105 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808.

A service is 11 a.m. June 2 at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Spillman officiating. Interment will follow at Burnet City Cemetery.
