Oscar Sylvester March, 68, of Pflugerville died April 16, 2011, in Llano. He was born in Oklahoma City on June 16, 1942, to Oscar G. and Evelyn Annabell (Robinson) March.

He married Arlina Casiano on Aug. 8, 2002, in Austin.

He lived in the Pflugerville/Austin area for 20 years. He was a member of the Del Valley Gypsies Motorcycle Club and worked with the Crawfish Festival in Llano for the past 11 years. He was an Army veteran and a retired teacher’s assistant for special-needs children at Pflugerville High School.

He also worked with the Austin State Hospital and Austin State School.

In addition to his wife, survivors include; daughter Tonii Christopher of Oklahoma City; sons Michael “Cue Ball” Aponte of Kingsland and Mark Anthony Aponte of Copperas Cove; father Oscar G. March of Oklahoma City; and sister Barbara Chandler of Oklahoma City.

A service will be at a later date.
