James Howard “Jimmy” Watson
James Howard “Jimmy” Watson, 73, of Buchanan Dam died April 18, 2011. He was born in Santa Anna on Jan. 7, 1938, to Thomas Oscar and Molly Pearl Allison Watson.
He lived in Austin, Buchanan Dam and the Llano area and developed many friends in those places. He fought a courageous battle with cancer.
Survivors include his son Van Watson; daughter Stacy Watson; mother Molly Newson; brothers Rod, Tommy and Rich Watson; sister Marcia Watson; grandchildren Halie, Raece and Brody; great-grandson Jace; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son James Watson Jr. and daughter Kimberly Lynn Watson.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. April 20 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008.
A service is 1 p.m. April 21 at the funeral home with the Rev. Ken Barington officiating.
