Marble Falls rodeo athletes make Texas finals

MARBLE FALLS — Three students have qualified for the Texas Junior High Rodeo Association State Finals May 29-June 4 in Gonzales.

Marble Falls rodeo youth Ryan Becker (left), Tyler Horn and Peyton Emory qualified for the Texas Junior High Rodeo Association state finals May 29-June 4 in Gonzales after finishing among the top eight in their events in the Region VI standings. Becker and Horn have confirmed they are moving on to state, but a family member says Emory has decided not to. The region competition, which included 12 rodeos, began in September and wrapped up in March.
