New transportation plan unveiled for Burnet County roads

BURNET — Burnet County commissioners April 12 unveiled a wish list three years in the making that outlines projects to improve area traffic flow and road conditions in the years ahead.

There’s only one catch — many of the ambitious projects can’t be started until state funding comes through, an unlikely prospect given the fact Texas is facing a multibillion-dollar shortfall.
