Burnet County household hazardous waste collection deemed success by organizers; tire collection April 2
BURNET — Organizers of a weekend household hazardous waste collection labeled the event a success, even as officials gear up for a scrap-tire drive April 2.
Both will help curb illegal dumping by recycling materials while protecting water sources, sponsors said.
The 2011 Burnet County Household Hazardous Waste Collection was March 26 at the Burnet County Fairgrounds in Burnet, 1225 Houston Clinton Drive.
