Margret Reese Snow Watson
Margret Reese Snow Watson, 92, of Bertram died Feb. 19, 2011. She was born in Joppa on Feb. 11, 1919, to Henry Jay and Annie Belle Wilson Snow.
She was a homemaker for most of her life. She married George A. Watson on Dec. 1, 1934, in Oatmeal and they were married for 68 years.
Survivors include daughters Annie and husband James Alford Gilmore, and Joyce and husband Thomas M. Edwards, all of Oatmeal; daughter-in-law Ivy Watson; grandchildren Jeannie Gilmore, Ronnie and Brenda Gilmore, Lisa and Ken Newton, Nancy and Ronnie Reed, Harry and Joy Watson, Ruth Ann and Guy Nelson, Thomas and Kem Edwards, Boyd and Carolyn Edwards and Doug Watson; 24 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister Frances Reed; brothers-in-law Wayne Watson and wife Frances and Lee Watson and wife Daisy; and sister-in-law Merlene and husband Maloy Herbort.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sons Danny, Jerry and Harry Watson; parents; sisters Bessie Arthur, Mary Snow and Selma Cox; and brothers-in-laws Carl and Elmo Watson.
A graveside service was Feb. 20 at the Oatmeal Cemetery with the grandchildren officiating.
Pallbearers include Steven Jay Gilmore, Alan Wayne Marler, Jerry Marler, Jordan Nelson, Colby Watson and George Watson.
