Anna Marie Kelley

Anna Marie Kelley, 53, of Friendswood died Feb. 8, 2011, at her home. She was born Oct. 24, 1957, in Lincoln, Neb., to Dale and Arlene Rodaway.
She began school in Las Vegas in 1963 and graduated from Rider High School in Wichita Falls in 1975 at 16. She attended the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma, where she earned her real estate license and real estate broker’s license.
While attending Oklahoma, she was crowned Miss Ardmore Oklahoma and was runner-up Miss Oklahoma World.
She started her professional career with Broadway Square Apartments and later was employed by Cove Apartments and Summit Management Corp. One of the many honors of her professional career was serving as president of the Austin Apartment Association.
Survivors include children J.W. Kelley III and Joanna Kelley, both of Friendswood; parents of Kingsland; sister Angela Rodaway of Wichita Falls; brother Andrew Rodaway of Victoria; nephew Christopher Rodaway of Wichita Falls; niece Elyse Rodaway of Pittsburg, Kan.; and great-nephews Addison Prettyman and Zachari Samek.
Viewing and visitation with the family was Feb. 14 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at Kingsland Community Church, 1136 RR 1431 in Kingsland, with the Rev. Tommie Beck officiating. A graveside service will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Park Road 4 in Burnet.
Pallbearers include Jerry Rodaway, Jerry Rodaway Jr., Chuck Samek, Steve Arms, Mike Arms and Koby LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers include J.W. Kelley III, Chris Rodaway, Gary Douglas, Jeff Rodaway, Rick Spomer and Tricky Norris.
