Willow Jo Kelley

Willow Jo Kelley, 84, of Burnet County died Jan. 25, 2011. She was born Aug. 23, 1926, in Fisher County to Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hollabaugh.
She spent her childhood in Roby, graduating from Roby High School in 1945. She then moved to Abilene and graduated from business school.
She lived and worked in Abilene until she married Durwood Kelley in 1950. They moved to Roby and farmed for several years. The couple had twins in 1953.
In 1963, they moved to Burnet County and continued to farm and ranch. After raising their children, she and her husband divorced.
She devoted her time to church, family and work.
When she retired from People’s National Bank, she became the caretaker for Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mallett near Lake Victor. This beautiful and peaceful place that she loved remained her home until her death.
Survivors include her children, Wayland Kelley and wife Donna of Lake Victor and Connie Roark and husband Ronnie of Lampasas; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; sisters Aza Lea Baxter of Georgia and Mary Hooper of Nacogdoches; brother Charles Hollabaugh of Leander; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Orville Jr., Flossie Lou, Valaoria Jane and Steve Hollabaugh.
A service is 11 a.m. Jan. 29 at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 in Burnet, (512) 756-2222, with the Rev. Doug Lindley of Hill Country Fellowship officiating.
