Scott Hearne
Scott Hearne, 47, of Burnet died Jan. 22, 2011, in Austin. He was born Aug. 28, 1963, in Houston to Leslie Wayne and Charlotte James Hearne.
He served in the Army and was employed for 30 years in investment casting. He loved to read, sing and play guitar. Survivors include his wife of two years, Sandra Hearne of Burnet; father Leslie Hearne of Marble Falls; siblings Michael Hearne of Spring, Stephen Hearne of Dripping Springs, Daniel Hearne of Marble Falls, and Karen Vincent and husband Jerry of Kirbyville; mother-in-law Frances Voigt of Austin; stepfather Roy Rowney of Burnet; stepchildren James “Red” Deckert and wife Mindy of Missouri, Brandi Haggerton and husband Charlie and Jennifer Childress and fiance Ben Richardson, all of Burnet, Aja, Stephen and Aaron; grandchildren Kaytlin Haggerton, Jordan Deckert and Alexandra Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Jan. 25 at Edgar Funeral Home Chapel, 2105 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808.
A service is 1 p.m. Jan. 26 at the chapel with the Rev. Jeff Van-Ryswyk officiating.
