Greg Brumley, 48, died Jan. 19, 2011, at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock. He was born Jan. 29, 1962, in Hobbs, N.M., to L.G. and Glenda Brumley.

He was a member of the Llano Church of Christ and worked for the city of Llano and in construction. He always had time for a wink, a smile and a joyful conversation. His outgoing personality and helpful attitude will be missed.

In addition to his parents, survivors include children Chad Amick of Temecula, Calif., and Chelsea, Ryan, Tanner and Aaron Brumley, all of Abilene; sisters Karla Helton of Camp Wood and Kathy Stroud of Hobbs; and brother Larry Brumley of Llano.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Jeff Stroud of Hobbs; paternal grandparents Jesse and Zelma Brumley of Hobbs; and maternal grandmother Kathleen Brooks of Tyler.

A service is 11 a.m. Jan. 22 at the Llano Church of Christ with the reverends Gene Greer and Ron Anderson officiating. Music provided by soloist Jenny Taylor.
