Mollie Najar Simpson

Mollie Najar Simpson, 74, died Jan. 14, 2011. She was born May 31, 1936, in Llano to Dora (Castillo) and Manuel Najar.
She married William Elmo Simpson.
Survivors include sons William Simpson and wife Mary Beth of Round Rock, John Simpson of Kingsland, and Sam Simpson of Llano; sisters Frances Maldonado of Waco, Sam Wooten of Indiana and Louise Christian of Kingsland; brothers Larry Najar and Lewis Najar, both of Llano; grandchildren Angela, Adrienne, Kelsie, Holden and Arianna; great-grandchildren Carson, Kevill, Connor and Kali; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966; parents; sister Gloria Glover; and brothers Joe “Lupe” Najar and Mark Najar.
A visitation followed by the recitation of a rosary was Jan. 16 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home chapel, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.
A funeral service was Jan. 17 at the funeral home chapel with Deacon George Lillard officiating. Burial followed at the Llano City Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Bradley Tribble, Keith Goodson, Jim Moore, David Najar, Holden Simpson and Sabas Najar Jr.
