William “Pete” Conners
William “Pete” Conners, 79, of Marble Falls died Jan. 7, 2011.
He was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Houston to William Conners Sr. and Ruby Robert.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and cutting his lawn.
Survivors include wife Becky Conners of Marble Falls; daughters Linda Roberts and husband Bill of Azle, Karen Arzola and husband Jesse of Arlington, Lois Lacous and husband David of Houston, and Christal Rivas and husband Ed of Haslet; son Paul Richard Conners and wife Karla of Horseshoe Bay; stepson William Allen Rutland of Marble Falls; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Pauline Conners; son John Richard
Conners; and sister Dorothy Forgarty.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Jan. 10 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.
A service is 11 a.m. Jan. 11 at the funeral home with Harold Conoway officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairland Cemetery.
