Theodore “Ted” James Lenoch
Theodore “Ted” James Lenoch, 81, of Kingsland died Jan. 8, 2011. He was born to George and Elsie Lasak Lenoch on Dec. 12, 1929, in Chicago.
He served his country in the Air Force and Army Reserve.
He married Lillian Jelinek and worked for the city of Austin in the business office for many years. He was a member of the Genesis Lutheran Church of Buchanan Dam.
In his spare time he enjoyed sports including teams such as the Cubs, Bears and Bulls. Other activities included fishing, singing and cooking.
He also was a part-time actor on stage and in movies. He was known to many as “Terrible Texas Teddy” and an all-around clown. Prior to residing in Kingsland, he lived in Meadowlakes, northeast Austin and Berwyn, Ill.
In addition to his wife, survivors include son Roy M. Lenoch of Austin; daughter
Joy Anne Wukasch of Liberty Hill; and grandson Nathan Andrew Wukasch.
A visitation was Jan. 9 at Putnam Funeral Home & Crematory, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Feb. 5 at Genesis Lutheran Church.
