James “Jimmy” Warren Williams
James “Jimmy” Warren Williams, 77, of Sunrise Beach died Jan. 4, 2011. He was born Dec. 6, 1933, to J.W. and Naomi (Pryor) Williams in Texarkana, Ark.
He grew up in Texarkana, Texas. He was the Texas High School Tigers quarterback his senior year. He served in the Army and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
After graduation, he started a certified public accounting firm in Austin, where he served clients from 1970 to 1997.
He was loyal UT sports fan and Longhorn Football Foundation Member. His favorite hobbies included shopping, gardening, cooking, traveling and golf.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Roma Hall Williams; sisters-in-law Jan Plum of San Antonio, Dorothy Hall of Shreveport, La., and Carol Hall of Minden, La.; brother-in-law Pierce Hall of Shreveport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service is 1:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at the family home.
