William Carroll ‘Bill’ Killingsworth

William Carroll “Bill” Killingsworth, 70, of Meadowlakes died Dec. 18, 2010. He was born in Checotah, Okla., on Aug. 17, 1940.
After graduating from high school in Muleshoe, he attended West Texas College at Canyon. He served in the Army on Special Service duty in Turkey from 1962-1964.
After leaving the military, he was a farmer at Muleshoe until his retirement in 1999. He then moved to Meadowlakes to be closer to family.
He had many hobbies including fishing, hunting, woodworking, playing games, traveling and all sports.
Survivors include his wife Jolene Haney Killingsworth; children Melissa Carol Anderson, Kathy Ann Hodges and John Allen Killingsworth; seven granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; sister Wilma Dean Killingsworth Polson; stepsons, Randy Haney and Robert Haney; step-grandson Randy Hodges Jr.; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Boyd and Pearl Evelyn (Gardner) Killingsworth of Muleshoe.
A funeral service was Dec. 22 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home chapel, 1805 U.S. 281 North, (830) 693-4373, with the Rev. Ralph Mann officiating.
Interment followed at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Mike Polson, Brian Polson, Randy Hodges, Randy Hodges Jr., Robert Haney and Randy Haney.
