Francis Marion Inman
Francis Marion Inman, 86, of Marble Falls died Dec. 21, 2010. Born May 18, 1924, in Llano County, he was the son of Eli Davis and Clara (Gray) Inman.
He was a Navy veteran and served during World War II.
He and his wife Wilma opened Inman’s Ranch House Barbecue in Marble Falls in 1964. His son Billy Inman joined them in the business in 1987 and will continue in his dad’s footsteps.
Survivors include sons Marion Davis Inman and wife Nancy of Willow City and Billy Dale Inman and wife Sherry of Marble Falls; grandson Shawn Inman of Willow City; granddaughters Amanda Inman of Willow City, Ashley Inman of Marble Falls and Jennifer McCall of Houston; brother Bobby Inman and wife Betty of San Saba; sisters Marzelle Lenberg and Bonnie Terry, both of Marble Falls; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in October 2008; brothers Gray Davis Inman and Lester Inman; and sister-in-law Doris Inman.
A graveside service is 2 p.m. Dec. 23 at Tobey Cemetery in Marble Falls with Holton George officiating.
Pallbearers are Tim Inman, Ronnie Frisbee, Raymond Hall, Zeno Hayden, Joe Don Dockery and Leslie Holder.

He fought a tough battle with cancer and the family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. McCurdy, Dr. Youman and the nurses and staff at Granite Mesa Health Center of Marble Falls for their care and kindness.
To the friends and family who brought him cookies, candy, pies and assorted gifts and visited with him, we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts. We appreciate so much all the prayers that were said from members of so many different churches. Your love is overwhelming.
