William Stephen Christian
William Stephen Christian, 67, died Nov. 28, 2010. He was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Arlington to C. Douglas and Dorothy Eidt Christian.
He retired from the Dallas branch of the Texas Department of Transportation in 2003. He enjoyed football, track, scuba diving, downhill skiing, mountain hiking, golf, snorkeling and water skiing. He was a domestic and international traveler.
He was always a happy person who loved his family, good conversation and good food. He welcomed company from his family.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Christian; brother C. Douglas Christian Jr.; sisters Deborah Sweet and Bonnie Foster; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at First United Methodist Church, 301 E. Graves St. in Burnet with Ellen Ely officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund or a charity of choice.
