Kenneth Weldon Neugent
Kenneth Weldon Neugent Sr., 75, of Granite Shoals died Nov. 24, 2010. He was born to Hubert and Nadine Threet Neugent on June 13, 1935, in Tahoka.
He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. He was married to Roberta Humphrey, whom he met while in the Marines.
In his spare time, he enjoyed repairing television sets and lawn mowers.
In addition to his wife of Granite Shoals, survivors include children Danny, Tommy, Ricky and Robby Neugent, all of Granite Shoals; sisters Dolores Dove of Austin and Linda Tomlin of New Mexico; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and daughter Pattie Neugent.
A visitation was Nov. 28.
A graveside service with military honors was Nov. 29 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with the Rev. Harold Conway officiating.
