Charles Calvin Tumlinson
Charles Calvin Tumlinson, 90, of Kingsland died Nov. 26, 2010. He was born Dec. 11, 1919, to Lula Savannah (Leverett) and Joseph Ellis Tumlinson in Llano County. He was a lifetime resident.
He married Rosemary Masterson Sept. 21, 1947, in New Jersey. He was an Army veteran.
In addition to his wife of Kingsland, survivors include daughters Cheryl Moseley and husband Robert of Castell, Eileen Van Bibber and husband David of Austin, and Mary Birdsong of Cedar Creek; son Michael Tumlinson of Kingsland; sister Frances Jung and husband Ray of St. Hedwig; brother David Tumlinson of Kingsland; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son; daughter; three brothers; and three sisters.
A visitation was Nov. 29 and a service is 2 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home chapel, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767, with the Rev. Jack Whyburn officiating.
Burial will follow at the Kingsland Cemetery.
