Susanne Stewart Simonds
Susanne Stewart Simonds, 87, died Nov. 18, 2010.
Her life was centered on her family, her church and her many interests. In recent years she enjoyed gardening, knitting caps and booties for premature infants, and most of all, caring so well for the people she loved.
Survivors include children Susanna and husband Dale Richey, Stewart and wife Nancy Simonds, Nancy and husband Larry Linenschmidt, Anne and husband Rick Lowe and Louise and husband Gary Brummett; grandchildren Jen, Sarah, Emily, Jeff, Meredith and Stephanie; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Ava, Ella, Savannah and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by Omar Howard Simonds, her husband of 64 years.
A memorial service is noon Dec. 11 at the Church at Horseshoe Bay, 600 Hi Ridge in Horseshoe Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to The Church at Horseshoe Bay or to a charity of choice.
